If I even looked a smidgen good in striped tights like these, I’d wear them every day. How can you NOT be happy every day if you wore striped tights!!!!?
One chilly day, into the studio comes this beautiful girl. I barely recognized her since the last time I saw her.. We stayed nice and toasty inside and then decided to raid the basket in the corner of hats and scarves and whatever else we could find to run outside to get a few fun shots. Her amazing skirt for the outside pics is by this local Pittsburgh designer who I’ve already fallen in love with and now proudly own 2 skirts of my own and am in the process of having a jacket made:) Her amazing way of lighting up a room – yep, thats all her.

my blog/site etc are still all under construction. With my vast lack of knowledge
i’m sure it will be a while before I get things just the way I want them. And, as I mentioned before I’m working on getting a new logo etc so dont want to put any finishing touches on anything until that is complete.
BUT in the meantime, I wanted to keep sharing recent sessions!!

I wish I knew more about all the computer techno stuff. This time of year is when I update my site/blog etc. I’m also working with a fabulous new graphic designer on a whole new look/logo/design. So bear with me over the next few weeks as my blog/site etc may look a bit raw. ~thanks~

Its no secret I like polaroids. I have a more than a few cameras and am always collecting them when I go to an antique shop or thrift shop – whether they work or not… I love them. I have a shoebox full of images. I recently found these cool display strings at www.photojojo.com and hung a few polaroid up.
So when the new year came rolling around and the buzz on the blogs, facebook, twitter and flickr was to start a 365 project/ photo a day I decided I wanted to do it. I had seen alot of project done in the past, online, people blogging about them. Some people do 365/grateful daily ones which I LOVE, and this year there are a lot of iphone ones- how great! I decided I would do one with what I love, a polaroid, and instead of throwing them in a box, put them in an album.
My quest for an album wasnt easy. I ended up finding one, having to rip out the plastic placeholder and making it “do”…but its better than throwing them in a shoebox – at least for now
or until I find something I love more.
So these are my first 3 pages. Just random things that I see or want to take a picture of daily. I encourage you to do the same – whether its your phone, a point and shoot, or a disposable. DO IT. start today.
