…and a gorgeous family at that. I met mom and this little sweetie prior to our session and we instantly hit it off, but I had no idea how wonderful our session was going to be. A smile so contagious, I was smiling the whole way home!! She was such a giggling joy to be with the whole time, stopping once for some fruit and milk and then on she went again! What a beautiful family they make

A living doll - one of those porcelain ones you see sitting on a shelf - that is exactly what she reminded me of. Such a beautiful little girl with big dark eyes and creamy skin… {{{sigh}}} I do miss having my own that age again.

graduation
I have a big family… for the last..oh, 5 or 6 years my family has had someone graduate high school and now starting to graduate collage. Every year for that last 3 years or so , I’ve been doing slideshows to play during their party of the pictures I have taken. This year is no exception. My beautiful niece, my younger sister’s first to graduation and of course we are so proud of her.

So a few weeks ago I was contacted by a Pittsburgh/Ohio based band to do some photography for their new promotional material. They are a local band getting ready to release their first album together. I’m a sucker for great music, ever since I was a little girl and my dad made us sit for an hour a week and listen to band such as The Kingston Trio and Joan Baez, I’ve always loved music. Now, I cant carry a tune if I had it in my pocket and after several years of piano lessons I only came away with my version of Stairway to Heaven, but after logging on to this BANDS site for the first time I was hooked.
If you have never heard of JD EICHER and the Goodnights, you will soon. LOG ON, Bookmark it and BOOK THEM for your next gig and when their album comes out BUY IT. These young guys are amazing. A-mazing. (and cute huh?? )

I’ll be out of town for a few days -visiting my son, who is living a dream this summer working and doing an internship on the Outer Banks. growing like dandelions
I’ve been so fortunate to be photographing such beautiful families. AND to see these beautiful girls again. It had been about 2 years since I had last seen them, and they had grown so much!
We started out with a couple First Communion pictures … so beautiful in that veil…
and then found out these 2 beauties were going to be in a wedding soon and just got their flower girl dresses..so a few shots with those..
so after carefully trying to not get any grass stains on any dresses - we quickly changed so we could go play!
and then back inside for a drink and a few shots with the dogs
GOOD FUN!!!
graduation celebration!
My little guy just graduated from preschool (sniff sniff) and we are in a celebration mood!!! We decided to celebrate by giving away $500!! huh? who?? how??? yep! you heard it!! The next 5 people to call (and reserve) a regular session will get $100 in credit vouchers to use HOWEVER YOU WANT- apply it to your session fee - use it on prints - give them to your mom.. they are yours!! crazy? ya, well - when we celebrate - WE CELEBRATE!!!
turning one
This fantastic age where everything is fascinating and exciting and even I was interesting for a while! I love this age… just maybe able to walk, with help sometimes… but always curious and full of expression. This gorgeous family and I had a wonderful time together and I look forward to watching this beautiful little girl grow!
I’ve had a few emails regarding the short “pideo” below… this was created entirely on a dslr and edited in a software program. I have had a few ‘test clients’ for these type of sessions and will be offering this product in the very near future once I get a little bit better at it
