Friends, Family and other ramblings…

Yikes - has it been this long since my last post? I guess I have alot of catching up to do on my blog. First my trip to WPPI and VEGAS, baby. I found a great little video that has some of the guest speaker and summarizes some of the atmosphere of the tradeshow in it.
It was great to sit and listen to so many speakers that week - learning new things and taking in so much new information.
But in addition to all the amazing classes we attended, I got to see! so many friends that I have been communicating with online for years.. and I finally got the opportunity to actually meet and hang out with them.
My friend Carrie sent me this photo she took of us one evening at one of the get togethers hosted by one of the vendors.
It truly is a honor to be in the same room as so many of these fantastic photographers and hang out with them…

I took so much back with me - not only in the fact that I actually had to buy an extra duffle bag to get it all home.. but in the non physical sense. One thing a lot of these speakers kept repeating is to shoot for YOU. of course you want to make your clients happy, but you have to be happy to make to clients happy…and if you arent shooting with your heart - you cant achieve that in any sense.

So I come back to PA to obstacles waiting for me… I’m pumped from Vegas and hit roadblocks - isnt that the way it always goes though, huh?
My good ole mom reminds me that its the 1st time my entire family is home for a holiday together in a long time..yea, all the nieces, nephews, sisters.. 1st time in a few years… wow.
